Charlene A. Donaghy on “Backstage with Johnny O” on WZBG

Playwright Charlene A. Donaghy is being interviewed on “Backstage with Johnny O” WZBG radio program Saturday, October 10, 2015, 9am EST. Charlene Donaghy will discuss her new collection of plays Bones of Home and Other Plays which just released. She will also discuss her historic New Orleans play Quadroon, which is optioned with Madison Square Productions with expected production in 2016. She will also be talking about the 4th Annual Warner International Playwrights Festival premiering her play, Joanie and Freddie on Valentine’s Day, a tribute to her parents, on Saturday, 10/17 at 8pm. Both Quadroon and Joanie and Freddie on Valentine’s Day are both available in Donaghy’s  Bones of Home and Other Plays.

She will also talk about Torrington 275:  celebrating Torrington’s 275th anniversary at The Torrington Historical Society and Center Cemetery, featuring six vignettes she wrote showcasing figures from Torrington’s history, production by The Warner Theater on Saturday 10/17 from noon to 5pm.
