Gregg Barrios Reading at Our Lady of the Lake University

GREGG BARRIOS is set to do a public reading of his work at the Sueltenfuss Library at Our Lady of the Lake University, San Antonio, TX this Thursday, November 5, 2015, at 7 pm. The evening will also include a short performance by the actors of Barrios’ new play Ship of Fools, a play about Katherine Anne Porter. A book signing will follow the presentations. This event is free and open to the public.

GREGG BARRIOS is an award-winning playwright, poet and journalist. His plays include Rancho Pancho, I-DJ and A Ship of Fools. He has received a CTG-Mark Taper Fellowship, a Ford Foundation Grant, and an Artist Foundation Grant for his theater work. He is a 2013 USC Annenberg Getty Fellow, and serves on the board of directors of the National Book Critics Circle. He was inducted into the Texas Institute of Letters this year. He is the 2015 Fall Visiting Writer at Our Lady of the Lake University.
