Hansen Publishing Group is an indie publisher and publishes works of fiction, poetry, and drama as well as non-fiction books dealing with the visual and performing arts. Our staff has decades of experience in all aspects of the book trade from bookselling, printing, book and cover design, editing, marketing, photography, and teaching writing at the university level.

Many of our authors have enjoyed literary recognition. Karen Kondazian’s novel The Whip has won the 2014 Readers Favorite- Gold Medal Prize -Winner Best Western Fiction, the 2013 International Book Award, first place, Best Western Fiction, the 2013 National Indie Excellence Award, first place, Best Western fiction, the 2013 Global E-book Awards, first place, Best Historical Fiction, and the 2012 USA Best Book Award, first place, Best Western Fiction. B.V. Olguín’s collection of poetry Red Leather Gloves has won the 2015 National Association for Chicana and Chicano Studies Tejas Foco Award for Poetry, the 2015 IBPA Benjamin Franklin Poetry Award, Silver Winner, and the 2015 Texas Institute of Letters First Book of Poetry, Second place. Poet and playwright Gregg Barrios was inducted into the Texas Institute of Letters in 2015 for his body of work and literary accomplishment.

Although we are an indie publisher, we have a large distribution network. Our print books and e-books enjoy global distribution to the trade, online retailers, and libraries.
