Gregg Barrios, RANCHO PANCHO honored tonight in San Antonio

Playwright Gregg Barrios will be honored tonight at 7:30 at the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center in San Antonio, Texas. The evening is a celebration of Gregg Barrios and his play RANCHO PANCHO, which explores the passionate and sometimes turbulent love affair of  Pancho Rodriguez and American playwright Tennessee Williams from 1946-1947. Gregg will be reading selections from RANCHO PANCHO and signing copies of RANCHO PANCHO which Hansen Publishing Group released in book form earlier this year. The ushers will be wearing RANCHO PANCHO t-shirts for the occasion.

In a way Gregg Barrios and RANCHO PANCHO have returned home again. The Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center supported Gregg in the early development of the play. RANCHO PANCHO was later produced by The Classic Theatre of San Antonio in 2008. RANCHO PANCHO was performed in San Antonio and in Provincetown, Massachusetts at the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Festival in September 2008.

We look forward to more  productions of RANCHO PANCHO and its appearance in other mediums in the future.
