Hansen Publishing Group Begins Digital Distribution of Academic Journals

The Ometeca Institute has entered into a digital distribution agreement to distribute its academic journal, Ometeca, with Hansen Publishing Group. It is the first digital distribution agreement for Hansen Publishing Group with more planned in the next few months.

Hansen Publishing Group provides digital distribution of journals for academic publishers. Besides digital distribution to libraries, Hansen Publishing Group will expand their academic partners into the trade by offering journal issues as ebooks that can be purchased without a subscription through online vendors like Amazon, Barnes and Noble, the Apple iBookstore, and Kobo. Plus, articles from each journal’s issue will be sold separately to enhance the journal’s exposure.
