Hansen Publishing Group is proud to announce that it will be publishing two works by Gregg Barrios, a San Antonio playwright and poet, in early 2009.
Rancho Pancho, releases in June 2009.
Rancho Pancho is a play written by Gregg Barrios, and it explores the relationship of playwright Tennessee Williams and his partner, Pancho Rodriguez. The play takes place in the summer of 1946 on Nantucket Island where Tennessee Williams and Pancho Rodriguez are renting a vacation home, which they nick name “Rancho Pancho.” The play opens with the arrival of Carson McCullers, the famous American novelist, who joins Williams and Pancho for a summer filled with writing, hard drinking, love and intrigue.
Rancho Pancho has been performed in San Antonio in September and October of 2008 and also at the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Festival on September 27, 2008.
La Causa, releases in September 2009. La Causa is a collection of poems written by Gregg Barrios. It will be the first in a series of poetry books being published by Hansen Publishing Group.
