Hansen Publishing to Publish Joseph M. Paprzycki’s play, “Last Rites”

Joseph M. Paprzycki’s play Last Rites will be published by Hansen Publishing Group in September 2009. Last Rites will be the second dramatic work to be published in the Hansen Drama series.

Last Rites is a play about misplaced faith. Set in a mom and pop corner tavern in Camden, New Jersey, Last Rites bears witness to the closing of a local shipyard in 1967 that leaves thousands unemployed and breaks up a community. The ship workers, their parish priests and the tavern owners give voice to the changes taking place.

Joseph M. Paprzycki is the author of forty-seven plays and screen plays. He has taught playwriting or scriptwriting at Rosemont College, La Salle University and Temple University. He is also the Producing Artistic Director of the South Camden Theatre Company.
