John DiLeo interviews Jane Powell at Black Bear Film Festival

John DiLeo, author and film historian, interviewed actress Jane Powell at the 2015 Black Bear Film Festival on October 16, 2015 after the showing of the classic Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (1954), starring Jane Powell and Howard Keel.  John DiLeo shared with me his impression of Powell after the interview:

Jane Powell is a living doll, such a sweet, smart, fun lady.

John DiLeo wrote about Seven Brides for Seven Brothers in his book Screen Savers: 40 Remarkable Movies Awaiting Rediscovery.

The Festival also award Jane Powell their Teddy Award which John DiLeo presented to her.
