JvL Bell Featured Speaker at Women’s History Month Afternoon Tea

This is a ticketed event at the Dillion Community Church, 371 La Bonte St, Dillion, CO. The tea is a tribute to Colorado Women Then and Now. Copies of the LUCK HAT MINE will be available for purchase, and JvL Bell will be happy to sign them.

JvL Bell is the author of THE LUCKY HAT MINE (2016) and a forthcoming novel DENVER CITY JUSTICE (August 2019). Both are historical novels richly steeped in nineteenth century Colorado frontier and mining history. The main characters in both novels are independent women of different cultural backgrounds often based on compilations of real women who lived in Colorado in the nineteenth century.

J.v.L. Bell is a Colorado native who was raised climbing Colorado’s 14,000 foot mountains, exploring old ghost towns, and reading stories about life in the early frontier days. She enjoys hiking with friends and family, visiting new places and meeting new people, rafting the rivers of Utah and Colorado, and reading great historical fiction. She lives in Louisville, Colorado with her two daughters and her husband.
