I love being an indie publisher. I understand that new titles and authors require time to be discovered. It always a bonus when a year or two after publication of a title that it receives a very fine review—it’s really satisfying. Such is the case today. First time novelist Karen Kondazian’s novel THE WHIP about the nineteenth century stagecoach driver Charlotte “Charley” Parkhurst has just been reviewed by Julia Ann Charpentier at Foreword Reviews. Here’s here’s a short quote from the review:
A skillful blend of fact and fiction…Kondazian’s fascinating portrayal of this admirable historical figure delves into the complex character of a tough woman combating old-school tradition and unhealthy stereotypes.
If that’s not compelling enough for you to get a copy and read THE WHIP, you can see the entire review here: http://ow.ly/wfwz4.
