Lucky Hat Mine Makes Another Summer Reading List

J.v.L. Bell’s THE LUCKY HAT MINE made the Readers’ Corner list for books about “Colorado: Old and New.” Bell gets first mention in the list of summer reading:

…a mystery/romance, overflowing with historical anecdotes and period detail.

A historical novel, The Lucky Hat Mine interlaces the tale of a feisty heroine with frontier legend and lore, making for a suspenseful murder mystery.

J.v.L. Bell is a Colorado native who was raised climbing Colorado’s 14,000 foot mountains, exploring old ghost towns, and reading stories about life in the early frontier days. She enjoys hiking with friends and family, visiting new places and meeting new people, rafting the rivers of Utah and Colorado, and reading great historical fiction. She lives in Louisville, Colorado with her two daughters and her husband.
