John DiLeo’s new book Ten Movies at a Time: A 350-Film Journey Through Hollywood and America 1930-1970 has received more praise. This time from Ivan Shreve on his movie blog, Thrilling Days of Yesteryear. Shreve’s in depth review praised Ten Movies at a Time strength for examining lesser known films with a critical eye. He also particularly liked the chapters devoted to Clifton Web, Marilyn Monroe, and Joan Crawford. Shreve ends his review with this:
